Download and install Tiktok easily and quickly on phones, tablets and computers

Short videos are a hit on social networks and one platform that has known how to exploit this is Tiktok. The app has become a benchmark for sharing videos, especially those edited with striking effects and transitions, to the point that many young people even use it as a substitute for Google when searching for any query. If you don’t have it yet, in this article we show you how to download Tiktok on your smartphone, tablet or even on your computer.

Download Tiktok for smart devices

For iPhone and iPad

To download Tiktok on your iPhone or iPad we’ll follow the same steps, since they are practically identical on both devices. Being two Apple systems, the process is very similar.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, find the App Store and open it.
2. Inside the App Store, tap the Search section and enter “Tiktok” in the top search bar.
3. In the results you will see the Tiktok app (the top results may be promoted apps). When you find Tiktok, tap Get (or the cloud icon if you had previously downloaded Tiktok).
4. When the download and installation finish, Tiktok will be waiting for you on your iPhone or iPad home screen.

You will only need to tap the Tiktok icon to open the app and access all its content; however, you will need to create a user account (or sign in with one you already had if you have used Tiktok in the past) to use the platform.

For Android (phones and tablets) (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, vivo, realme POCO, OnePlus, Pixel, Sony, Motorola and others)

If you have an Android device, you will need to download Tiktok from Google Play. The procedure is very simple, and you will follow the usual steps to download apps:

1. Find Google Play in your list of apps on your Android smartphone or tablet.
2. Inside Google Play, go to the Apps section and tap the search bar.
3. In the search bar, enter “Tiktok” and press enter.
4. From the results, Tiktok will appear; tap Install to start downloading and installing the app on your device.

After a few seconds, the Tiktok app will have downloaded and installed on your Android. You will only need to find it on your home screen (or in your app drawer, depending on the phone or tablet model) and open it to enjoy all its content. Also, don’t forget to create an account or sign in (if you were already a Tiktok user) to use Tiktok’s functions (like, share videos or upload your own).

For Huawei

Huawei device users, since they do not have access to Google services, cannot download apps from Google Play. However, Huawei devices have their own app store: the AppGallery, from which, in this case, you can download and install Tiktok for Huawei.

1. Find the AppGallery on your Huawei and open it.
2. In the search field, enter “Tiktok” and search.
3. Among the results you will see Tiktok (be careful because similar apps to Tiktok may also appear).
4. Tap the Install button next to Tiktok’s name and the app will start downloading.

When it finishes downloading, it will be available installed among your other apps. You only need to tap it to open it and create a new account or sign in if you already are a Tiktok user.

Download the Tiktok APK

If your Android does not have access to Google Play or another app store, you always have the option to install Tiktok via its APK. APKs are installation files with which we can install an app manually, but first we will need to download that APK to install it on our Android device.

1. Download the Tiktok APK from APKMirror, one of the most reliable portals for downloading APKs.
2. When the download finishes, the .apk file will be in the Downloads folder, although you can also open it from the notification.
3. You may need to enable the “Unknown sources” option or similar from your device settings in order to run APKs on your Android.
4. Once done, tap the APK to install Tiktok on your Android device. Follow the on-screen instructions that will guide you through the installation process and after a few seconds you will have the app available on your device.

It is worth noting that with this procedure, the Tiktok app will not update automatically as it would from Google Play when a new version is released. You will have to go back to APKMirror in search of the most up-to-date APK and repeat the process to install the latest version.

Download Tiktok for computer

Although Tiktok is primarily designed to be used vertically from a smartphone or tablet, it is also available for computers.

For example, one of the easiest ways to use Tiktok on your desktop is by accessing its web version.

1. Go to the Tiktok website.
2. Sign in with your account.

But if you are a content creator, perhaps the most interesting part of the website is its Creator Center, from which you can bulk upload videos, set thumbnails for them, and even schedule them to be published automatically.

On the other hand, Tiktok also has a native app for Windows, which can be more interesting than the web version, although in this case you won’t find many differences between the two.
