It’s no longer enough to be registered on the Robinson List, because in recent months spam, commercial and even fraudulent calls have been invading our smartphones at any time of day. We’re no longer sure that when we pick up a number that isn’t saved in our contacts we won’t be met with one of the typical automated recordings or that they won’t answer at all. To avoid all this, there is a method that allows us to block these fraudulent calls on our iPhone.
iPhones have an option that lets us block and identify calls, but for that we need an app to filter those phone numbers.
NO ESpam filters spam calls to block the extremely annoying numbers that keep bothering us
The app in question is called NO ESpam and we can download it for free from the App Store for iPhone. It is a personal initiative carried out by developer Enrique Canedo Sanchez, who quickly developed this solution to try to avoid the tedious commercial and spam calls that bother us so much today.
After downloading the app, we’ll first need to make a simple adjustment in our iPhone settings so that NO ESpam can intercept incoming calls, compare the phone number against its database and block it if it’s registered as spam.
To do this, once the app is installed, you will need to follow these steps:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down to the Phone option.
- Within Phone, look for Call Blocking & Identification.
- Enable No ESpam as a call identification app.
From then on, the more than 31,000 numbers in NO ESpam’s database will be blocked on your iPhone, so fraudulent calls simply won’t ring on your device.
The app does not have access to the contents of your calls or any related data

The app frequently updates its list of numbers, so it’s a good idea to open it from time to time to download its most up-to-date database. And if a new spam number has called you, you can add it yourself to NO ESpam and the team will review it to include it in the listing.
